HEYGOW has no accounts, so your progress lives in this browser and nowhere else. That is private, but it also means it can go: Safari on iPhone and iPad deletes a site's stored data after seven days without a visit, and a new phone or a different browser starts from zero.
This page writes everything down to one file you keep, and reads it back on any device.
Loading merges; it never wipes what is already here. Where a count differs the higher one is kept, and anything marked on either side stays marked. Display language, playback speed and volume are not carried over - those belong to the device.
What is in the file
- How many times you have played each phrase, and on how many separate days
- The drill's per-item count, its picture-book marks and your favourites
- Which categories you have opened, how far through each you are, and your lap counts
- Your consecutive-day streak and the phrase to resume from
It is plain JSON. Nothing is sent anywhere - the file is written by your own browser and read back by it.
